A design system for Klindworth website entails a cohesive and intuitive visual framework that aims to provide a seamless user experience while effectively communicating the brand identity and key messaging. The system incorporates a clean and modern aesthetic with a focus on simplicity and clarity, allowing users to easily navigate and access the information they need. The color palette is carefully selected to evoke trust and reliability, incorporating shades of blue and gray with accents of earthy tones to reflect the roofing industry's nature.

WHATS THE PROBLEM

Klindworth roofing, wanted to revamp their outdated website to enhance user experience (UX) and better communicate their brand. The goal was to make it easier for visitors to find relevant information, request a quote, and navigate the site with minimal friction. We faced several UX challenges throughout the project, particularly around simplifying the navigation, refining the wireframes, and optimizing the sitemap for a seamless user journey.

We  added a prominent “Get a Quote” CTA, visible on every page.

Sitemap and wireframe refinement

To ensure an efficient navigation structure, we undertook a sitemap refinement process, streamlining the number of pages and organizing them based on user behavior and business priorities

We reduced the number of sections on the homepage and organised content into digestible chunks. Key sections like “About Us,” “Services,” and “Testimonials” were repositioned for maximum visibility. Every wireframe version included strategically placed CTAs to guide users toward conversion. “Get a Quote” and “Contact Us” buttons were prominently displayed across all pages. The service pages were redesigned to highlight core offerings with quick overviews, followed by detailed information. Users could easily navigate between services without getting lost in unnecessary content.

  1. Improved User Engagement: With a more intuitive navigation system and a visually appealing layout, users were more engaged and spent more time on the site.
  2. Better Mobile Experience: By optimising the site for mobile, we reduced bounce rates by 15% among mobile users.
  3. Positive Client Feedback: Klindworth Roofing  received numerous compliments on the site’s professional look and ease of use, leading to increased brand trust.

RESULTS

By addressing key UX challenges, refining wireframes, and optimising the sitemap, we successfully transformed Klindworth Roofing' website into a user-friendly, mobile-optimised, and visually appealing platform. The strategic changes not only improved user engagement but also resulted in higher conversion rates, demonstrating the importance of good UX in the roofing industry.
